This person reports to the Director of Client and Server Software.
Senior Engineer Software Development Responsibilities:
- Planning and developing key aspects of the Auraria Networks, Inc. software products, architecture and development processes.
- Working with others or independently to develop specifications, algorithms and software that provides or extends the functionality of Auraria Networks, Inc. products.
- Developing high quality software at an accelerated pace.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the network operations, quality assurance, customer support and product description (web-based information or “technical writing”) team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned by the management of the company who may have responsibility for the person performing in this role.
The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated the following abilities:
- Extensive experience writing Windows applications using Visual Studio (C++).
- Experience writing applications for Linux (C++).
- Experience with SQL databases and Apache is a plus.
- 5 to 10 Years experience
- A baccalaureate degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in Computer Science.
- Technical Qualifications: Windows, Linux, C/C++, SQL, Apache
