Senior Engineer SW Development |

(1 Position)
This person reports to the Director of Server SW Development and will design, implement, test and maintain management and infrastructure support applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and developing key aspects of the Auraria Networks, Inc. software products, architecture and development processes.
- Working with others or independently to develop specifications, algorithms and software that provides or extends the functionality of Auraria Networks, Inc. products.
- Defining, developing, and maintaining management and infrastructure support applications.
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the network operations, quality assurance, customer support and product description (web-based information or “technical writing”) team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned by the management of the company who may have responsibility for the person performing in this role.
The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated the following abilities:
- Experience developing on and for Linux systems
- Experience administering Linux systems is desired
- Exposure to multi-tiered architectures, and distributed applications
- Experience developing inter-process communication, logging, and configuration systems
- 3-7 years of experience in software development
- MS or BS in Computer Science
- Programming to database interfaces such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
